The provincial government closed this Thursday the parities of 2022 with state and teachers and sealed a new agreement that will imply another increase of 7% to close the year with a total increase of 97%. The new increase will be added to the December salaries that the workers will collect according to the schedule established by the Buenos Aires authorities.

The Buenos Aires Executive received the teachers and state unions at the Ministry of Labor and agreed to new increases to close the year. The state ones closed 7% more for the month of December and, as they had already agreed on an increase of 14% for this period, the last month of the year they will charge it with an increase of 21%.

The negotiation of the teachers started from a 94% already agreed. Now, with the new increases, it will be around between 100.8% and 103.3% depending on the position and seniority. Thus, a teacher who is just starting his degree will be receiving $111,000 for December (including the amounts of the Teaching Incentive and National Connectivity) out of pocket, totaling a 103% increase in 2022. One with 12 years of seniority will reach $128,413 ; and with 24 at $152,405. A preceptor without seniority will reach $96,920 and a teacher with 20 modules (hours equivalent to two positions) $150,431. The positions of directors will be in December $178,455 and $240,994.

The agreement with the teachers includes new sums to the basic salary of preceptors and the increase of non-subsidised remuneration amounts for other ranks.

Likewise, it contemplates increases in the National Teacher Incentive Fund for December 2022 and for the beginning of 2023. In addition, the parties promised to start the parity next year in January.
