The final results of the first round of the PS Congress are known. The orientation text of the outgoing First Secretary of the PS Olivier Faure came first in the vote of socialist activists with 49.15% of the vote, ahead of that of Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol 30.51%, according to the final results communicated this Friday 13 January by the party.

The vote of the members counts for two-thirds in the composition of the National Council, the remainder being obtained by the elections of the first federal secretaries.

The members will vote again next Thursday to formally choose their First Secretary.
