The number one messaging service among gamers thanks to its many features, its ergonomics and a host of other arguments that need no introduction. How to use Discord on your PS5?
Discord on PS5 allows you to chat, with one person or in a group, while playing your favorite games. A basic feature that contributes to the popularity of the service. The first essential step is to create an account. at this address (if it is not done yet). If you already have one, just log in.
Then go to the settings of your Discord account then User settings > Connections. Look for the PlayStation icon and sign in to your PSN account. There you go, the messaging service is linked to your PS5. But it doesn’t stop there.
To use Discord on your PS5, you are required to use the PC application (also available on browser) or smartphone. It will therefore be necessary to launch a call from these platforms then click on Transfer the call. The icon is represented by a smartphone eclipsed by a joystick.
Why can’t I connect to Discord on PS5?
You may still not be able to use Discord on your PS5. Do not panic ! This is a trial that Sony may roll out to all of its gamers in the coming weeks or months. Possibly, this test is not available to you.
We hope for many adjustments for the final version such as the possibility not to go through the call transfer from Discord on PC and smartphones.
