As often, Ubisoft offers players to discover its latest big releases for a free trial. This new offer could be interesting if you have time in front of you.

Regularly, publishers offer players the opportunity to discover their titles without taking out the wallet. Whether through multi-hour trials via the PS Plus Premium, demos before their release or temporary availability, the opportunities are not lacking. Offers often limited to a single platform, but Ubisoft wants to break down barriers by letting you tame one of its latest big releases for a few days, regardless of your console. Yes, it’s not just PS5 and Xbox Series players who will be able to enjoy it.

Far Cry 6 free to play on PS5 and Xbox Series

Far Cry 6 will still be free for a few days. Ubisoft is offering a catch-up session for those who couldn’t have tried the latest episode during the many test events. No restrictions this time around, players from all walks of life can experience the tropical region of Yara whether they are on PS5, Xbox Series, PC, PS4 and Xbox One. No condition either on the content. It is indeed the whole of the basic game which is accessible, in particular the missions crossover inspired by pop culture including Rambo All the Blood and The Vanishing, a quest inspired by Stranger Things. During this free trial period, the co-op mode of Far Cry 6 is also available in its entirety. Those who play during this time will also receive an exclusive sniper rifle.

The game is free from February 16 to 20, 2023 unconditionally, except to have a machine that can make it turn. The main campaign of Far Cry 6 requiring about twenty hours to be completed, this new test will therefore allow the most relentless to complete the main story. For others who would like to continue their adventure, great discounts will be available on all editions during this time. Discounts ranging between 60% and 70%, knowing that the latest expansion Lost Between Worlds is also on sale at -50%. Progress will of course be retained.

For the record Far Cry 6 pushes you to face a dictator from the Caribbean island of Yara, played by Giancarlo Esposito (breaking Bad, The Mandalorian). A title that seduced us for its generous menu and activities, its endearing cast, its story punctuated with well-made twists and its always addictive gameplay which is far from revolutionizing the series.
