The residents of the San José neighborhood indicate that the man injured with the machete has perpetrated several robberies in the area and has a prolific record.

María González, a partner of the detainee for serious injuries with a knife, told this morning newspaper that last Sunday after 2:00 p.m., a man known as Rolo entered his land without authorization and his partner, now detained, saw him and an argument ensued. since the individual would have already stolen a toolbox. At that moment, Rolo fled, but not before threatening the owner of the house.

Later, around 7:00 p.m., the couple together with one of the minors who reside in the house proposed to go clean the bottom of the land that overlooks the street parallel to the entrance of the house and that was where the altercation took place. which resulted in a stab wound.

“We went with my partner to the bottom of the lot, to get there we have to go around the block because the bottom is fenced off and there is no exit gate. He arrived first, I walked behind him, he was bent over cleaning with the machete, when I saw that this Rolo approached him and I yelled: ‘Watch out, there’s Rolo’; When my husband turned around, I don’t know exactly how it happened, but this guy Rolo says ‘you cut off my hand’, and he ran away,” the woman explained.

According to González’s testimony, the injured man ran for help, while she and her partner went to their home and called the police station. Later, Ernesto J. went to the police station to give a statement of the fact and was detained. Meanwhile, the injured man arrived at the hospital after the help of a neighbor in the area.

Police sources indicated that Rolando B. has a sharp injury to his left arm and was urgently transferred to the Samic Hospital in Eldorado. Examined by the police doctor, it was determined that it was a sharp blunt wound by a knife in the anterior region of the left wrist that required 60 days to heal.

“My husband has no criminal record and this man does, and many. Neighbors in the neighborhood told that they were victims of robberies by Rolo. We are going to march and demand that my husband be released and we want the mayor to manage more security. There are more and more robberies,” González said.
