It’s whatthis Flux One electric bike?
This electric bike from the English brand Pure Electric goes straight to the point. Its one-size frame is suitable for users between 1.70 m and 1.85 m, which is equivalent to bike sizes M and L. Design and ergonomics are as basic as possible, with classic curves and a straight handlebar. Saddle padding is welcome, as the Flux One unfortunately lacks suspensions. It’s up to you to be careful in big cities to avoid cobbled streets or potholes. You will have to regularly adapt your driving so as not to absorb vibrations throughout the body.
The weight of the bike is 17.5 kg, or little, for an electric model. Equipped with a motor displaying 250W, the power is there and you can feel it from the first pedal stroke. After a start that will require a good push on your part, you will easily reach 25 km/h. Three levels of assistance (15 km/h, 20 km/h, 25 km/h) are available. An on-board computer allows you to check the charge level as well as the kilometers travelled.
Is the €950 Flux One a bargain?

Going below 950 €, it’s an excellent deal. The autonomy of this electric bike is perhaps its only weak point. It has a small 252W battery, for 20 to 30 km of travel, using the highest assistance modes. Good point: the battery is small and easy to remove. It charges in about 5 hours.
Finally, in terms of driving, the Flux One is an electric bike that is pleasant to handle. It is indeed rather reassuring to drive and very easily manoeuvrable. In terms of options, however, it is quite stingy and offers the bare minimum. You will need to checkout to get the essential front and rear lights. Mudguards, luggage racks, or crutches are also optional.
