Remedy’s Quantum Break received consistently pretty good reviews upon release, although few gaming sites called it a masterpiece. Mainly it was the division of long cutscenes and gameplay that served as a bit of a watershed between fans and critics. However, it has sold so well that both the developers and the Xbox team have repeatedly said they are open to a sequel. After almost seven years, most people would probably have given up hope, but it seems that there is still a chance.

Shawn Ashmore, who today is successful with The Rookie (although to many he is best known as Iceman in the X-Men films), played the main role in Quantum Break and it is therefore interesting that he now announces that he would like to be in a sequel. He made that very clear on Twitter after Windows Central journalist Jez Corden recently wrote that he wants to see more Quantum Break.

What do you think? Should Remedy add a Quantum Break sequel to its battery of upcoming projects like Alan Wake 2Control 2 and remakes of Max Payne 1 and 2?
