The Municipal Council approved this Thursday morning, in its ordinary session, the creation of a new neighborhood, number 42 for the city of Rafaela.

This new space is delimited by Normando Corti streets to the North, to the East by the future Santa Rosa street, the North Canal and the Belgrano Cargas railways.

This space, technically, today belongs to the Monseñor Zazpe neighborhood. And it is, specifically, on the property where the subdivision “My Land, My House” was generated, which in 2019 had already collected 60 signatures asking to separate. At present, there are already 127 families living in it. They will not be the only ones: the property also includes the space where 315 lots will be developed.

The names of the neighborhoods are defined by the residents themselves, who will also elect a first neighborhood commission. First, potential names will be chosen and then there will be a choice. And there is already a candidate: Lionel Messi.
