Rebel Moon is undoubtedly one of the films, if not THE Netflix Original that has been talked about the most since its announcement. It must be said that Zack Snyder, an American director whom you surely know for 300, Sucker Punch, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Justice League and lately Army of the Dead for the red N hit streaming platform, is a master in the art of “teaser” his projects.
With the exception of a few visuals put online in dribs and drabs and a kind of making of aired during Geeked Week organized in June 2022, Zack Snyder fans had to take their troubles patiently. The instigator of the late DCEU (for DC Extended Universe), now known as the Snyderverse, still took the time to reveal the cast of Rebel Moon, and the latter lives up to the expectations placed in this cinematic diptych. Because YES, the announcement had already been made. Rebel Moon will have the right to a second part already in production. Rebel Moon is a science fiction film belonging to the Space Opera subgenre (which Star Wars greatly helped to popularize) set in a planet on the edge of the galaxy. In the distant and undetermined future, this defenseless colony falls under the yoke of the armies of the tyrannical Balisarius. In these troubled times, the last hope of the survivors is in a young woman named Kora who is sent to neighboring stars in search of warriors able to free them from their oppressors.
