Yaoyao, like Alhaitham, won a gameplay trailer demonstrating his gameplay. This is a 4-star Dendro character who uses a spear and will arrive in the first phase of the 3.4 update of Genshin Impact. In this version of HoYoverse’s open-world RPG, the studio decided to focus on the Liyue region because of the traditional annual Lantern Rite event.
In Genshin Impact 3.4, the Yaoyao character can be acquired for free after completing some in-game challenges. The character had already been mentioned by leakers for over a year, where it was said that she would be the former apprentice of de Xiangling and assistant of Ganyu. Now, finally, she will debut as a playable character.
Yaoyao wins video demonstrating its gameplay
In Yaoyao’s gameplay trailer, called “Yaoyao: Purity of the Blossoming Osmanthus”, we have footage of Genshin Impact’s newest four-star Dendro character. She will be the first shortspear character in the game and will have the elemental ability to summon a partner named Yuegui, who will deal Dendro damage to enemies.
Yaoyao’s elemental blast deals Dendro damage to surrounding enemies and alters Yuegui’s effects through “White Jade Radishes, generated by the character’s ability, which also heals her allies. Another effect of the elemental blast is increased speed in the movements of the players and Dendro’s stamina.
