In recent weeks, Every time we meet and The Voice have gathered the Norwegian people in front of the TV screen. Now they are breaking a historical record with the number of viewers.
Every time we meet had the season finale last Saturday, and an average of 770,000 watched the entire season. Program director Kathrine Haldorsen is delighted.
– The combination of new and well-established artists creates a fantastic dynamic. There are nice people here who like each other well in every way, and who know what they do, says Haldorsen and adds:
– There are several fantastic artists who will be sitting around that table, so we are well underway with the casting for next year’s programme.

Far higher than previous seasons
You can continue to watch The Voice in the coming weeks, but so far it is a viewing record for the programme. 715,000 have so far seen the weekend programme, and 807,000 on average have followed the season so far.
Haldorsen believes there is a reason why the music program brings the Norwegian people together.
– In The Voice, the participants come with their hearts in their hands and are welcomed by warm and experienced mentors, who understand how tough these on stage are, says Haldorsen and adds:
– In combination with beautiful music, this is a lovely end to the week for many.
Great expectations
Next weekend is the premiere of Kompani Lauritzen, and Haldorsen has high expectations for this year’s season.
– Good entertainment is about the audience liking people. It’s extra nice when you might be surprised by someone you thought you knew before. That is precisely what is happening at Kompani Lauritzen, also this time, says Haldorsen.
Farmen Kjendis had its finale last weekend, and has also delivered very well in recent weeks with an average of 720,000 viewers.
– TV 2 must be synonymous with good content and good weekend entertainment. We are incredibly happy that we are able to break through so strongly with these program series. The famous farm has really delivered this season too, says Haldorsen.
