When the elections to the Berlin House of Representatives are repeated on February 12, 2,442,049 Berliners are entitled to vote. That is 53,338 fewer than in the 2016 election and 5,551 fewer than in the election of September 26, 2021, which was declared invalid, as the state election management announced on Friday evening. Up to election day, the number of those entitled to vote could still change slightly due to people moving out of Berlin and due to deaths.

On Friday, the state office for civil and regulatory affairs created the election lists for the repeat elections to the House of Representatives and to the district assemblies from the register of residents. There are a total of 2,738,586 eligible voters in the elections to the district assemblies. In addition to those entitled to vote for the House of Representatives, 16- and 17-year-old Germans and foreign nationals of a member state of the European Union living in Berlin from the age of 16 can cast their votes.
