From July 30 to 31, 2023, the United States Congressional delegation will be on Paraguayan soil. The visitors are the head of the entourage, Adam Smith (Democrat, Washington state), Health Carbajal (Democrat, California) and staff members of the United States House Armed Services Committee (HASC).
The purpose of the visit is talk about issues of cooperation in security, the fight against narcotics, in addition to other challenges that affect our shared interests with Paraguay.
During their stay in Asunción, the delegation of congressmen, accompanied by the US Ambassador marc ostfieldwill hold meetings with the country’s highest authorities, current and elected.
This visit by US congressmen strengthens the ties of security cooperation and diplomacy between the US and Paraguay.
