This DLC which was planned for a few days already welcomes a new frenetic mode which should let off steam properly. No puzzles, mysteries or people to protect, Mercenaries Mode involves slaying hordes of enemies while surviving before time runs out. Your goal will be to get the highest score by eliminating all the enemies and collect green orbs allowing you to gain bonus time and therefore eliminate more enemies and improve your score.
Finally, note that the “Massacre” mode can be quite useful to you, because it increases Leon’s capacities, his power and his speed tenfold. Capcom states that “Massacre Mode builds up over time by taking down enemies and parrying attacks.”
Resident Evil 4 Remake is available now on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PC and PS4 along with the free Mercenaries DLC.
