He was a fan favorite of The Good Doctor for the first two seasons. After a five-year hiatus, he’s now returning to The Good Doctor.
What a week for series fans: First, the broadcaster CBS announced that both “NCIS” and “NCIS: Hawaii” will get new seasons. Now it is also clear that “The Good Doctor” will enter the sixth round. As numerous US media reports, a crowd favorite from the first season will return.

2017’s “The Good Doctor” delivered a completely new approach, where the protagonist is a young, autistic surgeon. At San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital he struggles with skepticism and social interactions, but his insular talent makes him an indispensable genius in the field of surgery.
For a long time, the new episodes ran on VOX on free TV. Due to weak ratings, they were then banned to the special interest channel VoxUp. Sky customers can also get a taste of the hospital series on the Sky Replay channel. Numerous streaming services also have some seasons in their repertoire.
The popularity could increase again with season six, because Chuku mode will as Dr. Jared Kalu will be back. How among other things deadline reports, the Brit is back together with Freddie Highmore aka Dr. Shaun Murphy work. On March 6th he will be back in the USA. In the episode “Old Friends” he comes back to San Jose’s St. Bonaventure Hospital because his patient, a mysterious billionaire, is being treated there.
Series executive producer Liz Friedman said in a statement regarding the mode’s return, “We couldn’t be more excited to have Chuku rejoin the ‘The Good Doctor’ family. We’re also excited for the fans to see what Dr. Kalu has been up to since he left St. Bon’s.”
Whether Chuku Modu will return for just one episode or stay for longer is not yet known for certain.
