The nomination of Argentina 1985 as Best International Film at the Oscars delighted an entire country, and obviously the protagonists of the work.
One of them, Ricardo Darín, celebrated the film’s nomination and when speaking with the “Socios del espectaculo” program, he was deeply grateful for the expressions of affection and respect from the people.
However, in a section of the interview, Darín questioned his presence at the awards ceremony.
“The delivery is on March 12, but I still don’t know if I’m going to go,” Darín launched. Faced with this comment, the driver Adrián Pallares reacted: “How not? Where are you going to be? Is this for cabal?
“Exactly,” acknowledged the actor.
And he explained the possible determination: “When I went for ‘The Son of the Bride’, we came back with our tails between our legs. For ‘El secreto de la ojos de él’ and ‘Relatos salvajes’ I didn’t go and well… here we are”.
