Ricardo Martinelli promises radical changes in Panama, in the first 100 days of government

CITY OF PANAMA. The former president and presidential candidate of Panama, Ricardo Martinelli announces that in the first 100 days of government, if he wins, he will implement radical changes to improve the quality of life of Panamanians.

“In the first 100 days we will change the way we do things,” Martinelli writes in his message through his account on the social network X, formerly Twitter, . “Panama will once again be a prosperous country that gives quality of life to its citizens.”

“On July 1, 2024, Panama will change again and there will be water in the sectors that do not have water today or do not receive it 24/7,” adds Martinelli.

The former Panamanian president, who is running for the Realizing Goals party, is a strong critic of the current government, which he accuses of corruption and incompetence, in his speeches and publications on social networks, for which he promises an honest, efficient and transparent government.

“Let’s put the house in order,” Martinelli said in a recent video. “We are going to end corruption and we are going to work for the good of all Panamanians.”

Expectations in favor of Ricardo Martinelli

Martinelli’s promises generate great expectations among his followers, who hope that the former president can get the country out of the economic and social crisis it is going through.

“Ricardo Martinelli is the only hope that Panama has,” said a follower on the social network X. “He is the only one who can fix this disaster.”

“Martinelli already did it once, and he can do it again,” comments another follower. “He knows how to create jobs and how to grow the economy.”

The presidential elections in Panama will be held on May 5, 2024. Martinelli is one of the favorites to win the race.

These presidential elections in Panama represent a crucial moment for the nation. Citizens face the responsibility of carefully selecting their next head of state, a decision that will not only determine the future of the country, but also reflects the collective will of the citizenry.

This complex but significant process becomes a crucial act of civic participation. It is expected that the next administration will receive a State with various challenges accumulated in recent years, so it is essential that Panamanians inform themselves objectively to make responsible decisions that address these difficulties.
