Independiente’s coach, Ricardo Zielinski, spoke today at a press conference ahead of the match against Belgrano de Córdoba, corresponding to date 14 of the Professional League, which will be played this Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at the Libertadores de América-Ricardo stadium Enrique Bochini, about the collection carried out by the influencer Santiago Maratea with the aim of settling the debts that the institution has.
“The fact that the fans help and we have a path of tranquility is positive. We are all going to collaborate with the collection and I thank Santiago Maratea for helping us. The collection is very mobilizing,” described the “Red” coach.
In turn, Zielinski clarified that this initiative will be supported by the campus: “All members of the coaching staff and the campus will put money.”
Regarding sports, Independiente will face Belgrano de Córdoba this Sunday with the aim of leaving the bottom of the general table. “The truth is that we think that the championship is long, but all the games are important. It seemed to me that with River we do not take it this way. Being in Independiente we must do things to be better than our rivals. It would help us a lot to make a great match”, pointed out the coach.
“I do not give the team because for us it is very difficult to get the eleven of the rival. Once the rival knows our names, it is organized in another way. Even the journalism knows our eleven before the players and publishes it,” he said.
Regarding the match against Belgrano, he warned: “We have to focus on the game that is coming and improve from the collective. We have to walk an even path, with the system and the players. There are shirts turning around and someone is going to grab it.”
