The road tragedy returns to mourning the region and it is that a girl of just 9 years lost her life after being hit at high speed in the middle of a strong multiple crash, the causes of which are still under investigation. At least three vehicles, a motorcycle, a taxi and a van; were involved in the terrible accident that occurred in the neighboring city of Berisso.
Police sources told 0221.com.ar what The terrible incident took place on the afternoon of last Thursday, at the intersection of Avenida del Petróleo Argentino and 12 de Octubre.
Investigators are currently working to determine the mechanics of the event, which ended up involving a Mondial Max 110 cc motorcycle, a Fiat Cronos and an old Dodge 200 truck.
As indicated, the worst part of the event was taken by the occupants of the moped. The agents presume that this vehicle, in which the 9-year-old girl Zoe Yugovaz was circulating; and a 44-year-old woman, was hit at full speed while heading to La Plata. The little girl died on the spot, but the driver was rushed to the Mario Larrain hospital in Berisso by an ambulance from the Emergency Medical Care Service (SAME), where she was kept out of danger.
The security forces also revealed that both the driver of the truck and the taxi driver and the passenger he was carrying did not suffer serious injuries and therefore did not require medical assistance.
Justice, for its part, began an investigation that was classified as “culpable homicide”, while trying to determine for sure the reasons that triggered the tragic crash that cost Zoe her life.
