An important operation was carried out this Friday in Ensenada where a person who is Syndicated for being the leader of a gang dedicated to stealing and disarming motorcycles and then selling their parts on the black market and selling narcotics under the delivery modality, “service” that was provided by minors.
At the time of the arrest, wheels, batteries, exhaust pipes, helmets, mirrors, dashboards, seats, a fuel tank, parts of motorcycle frames, among other elements, were seized.
Police sources informed 0221.com.ar that the detainee is L.E.F.36 years old, who according to what they indicated would have ties to the UOCRA La Plata sector linked to Juan Pablo “Pata” Medina.
According to these same sources, the arrest derives from a shooting conflict that occurred on April 18 and 19. The first day, a 32-year-old man reported that he had been shot by another man aboard a black motorcycle -on Gerez and Moreno streets-. The following day, another man (39) denounced that an individual he knows as “Coto” entered his home and fired two shots at him, after demanding payment of the rent for the house located in Moreno and Calzzeta. But at the time of arrestthe man had in his possession 21 packages of cocaine, 73,000 pesos in cash, a package of marijuana, five wheels, two batteries, four exhaust pipes, three mirrors, two helmets, four front fairings, three complete dashboards, three seats, a fuel tank, four fenders, 23 grips, four medium engines, one patent, three keys, two lights, two motorcycle frame parts.
According to the sources, to achieve the arrest, the troops carried out three raids, in the homes that the man used as a “guantadero”, the first located at Calle Ferella 530, where they found appliances that had been stolen. The second took place at 24 and 26 Camino Almirante Brown Street, owned by the detainee’s ex-partner. And the third was carried out in Moreno 43, after an undercover surveillance, in which the offender could be seen entering and after a lock operation, he was arrested.
They also said that the detainee had been collecting “debts” for the delivery service provided by four young people aged 25, 17 and 15., in charge of distributing narcotics, in addition to the theft and scrapping of motorcycles. The offender turns out to be part of the hard structure of the UOCRA Medina faction, a participant in several confrontations with police personnel.
