It’s getting loud in Bochum’s Bermuda Triangle: At “Rock for Inclusion” on May 6, bands with very special artists will be on stage.

Lebenshilfe is rocking the Bermuda Triangle: On Saturday, May 6th, a music festival is taking place on Bochum’s party mile to mark European Day for Equality for People with Disabilities.

“Rock for inclusion” is the motto for the eleventh time on the stage at Konrad-Adenauer-Platz. Start is at 2.30 p.m. “It’s getting loud,” announces the Lebenshilfe. The “Schmodders” rock at the start. “ADM/Legends of Nothing” will follow at 4 p.m., “Moon winds” at 5:30 p.m., “Chaosband” at 7 p.m. and “Tanzorchester Paschulke” at 8:30 p.m. “A lot of bands are inclusive. This means that some members have a need for assistance,” says Lebenshilfe.

“Rock for Inclusion” in Bochum: Michael Wurst is the moderator

The supporting program includes games for children. The moderator is again VfL stadium announcer Michael Wurst. For the first time he is accompanied by a sign language interpreter. Lord Mayor Thomas Eiskirch has taken over the patronage.

The day of action should also be used to draw attention to barriers for disabled people in the city centre. “The experts on their own behalf will check the environment for hurdles and obstacles in advance. The results will be discussed with the city’s inclusion officer and will complement the ‘downtown inclusive’ project,” reports Lebenshilfe.
