Reynosa, Mexico..- A man who was celebrating the end of the year and awaiting the arrival of the new year with his family died when a rocket exploded in his face, in Reynosa.
According to reports from the authorities, the events occurred at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday at an address located in the Colonia del Maestro.
Versions of the relatives indicate that the 40-year-old man inserted the explosive into a device called “Bazooka” and lit the fuse, but when it did not explode, he turned the device over and then received the cannon shot in the face, which caused him detachment of brain mass.
In the place, two boxes with fireworks were found, all explosive, which would be used to receive 2023.
Elements of the Investigative Police and personnel from the Tamaulipas Attorney General’s Office arrived at the site to attest to the facts.
