Rough end of stage: Three falls in the last two kilometres!

The end of the 4th stage of the Tour de France has experienced a chaotic end where there have been up to three falls, with important runners such as Fabio Jakobsen who have been affected. The last two kilometers have been antagonistic to what had been seen throughout the day. On an excessively calm day, with a large section of the stage without a break, madness has been unleashed in the final moments of the tour.

It is customary for tension to surface in massive finals at sprintbut today it has been taken to another level leaving an image that is not usual in the race. Although it was felt that sooner or later it would happen, due to the crowd of runners who were fighting for those first platoon positions.

Luis León Sánchez has been another affected by the falls, but in this case the worst part has been taken:broken clavicle and goodbye to the Tour. He is the second Spanish runner who has to leave the gala round after Enric Mas and of the 14 Spaniards who left Bilbao, only 12 remain.

However, there was a runner, who seems touched by the wand, who was able to dodge all these mines and cross his bike the first to finish line: Jasper Philipsen, who repeats stage.
