Rubiales: "To that percentage of people with resentment who did not want to let us work..."

LLuis Rubiales, president of the RFEF, was exultant after proclaiming Spain world soccer champion. Speaking to RTVE, he sent a message to those who have not supported his decisions. “We have worked very hard and that some did not want to let us work. You have to let people do their job and that small percentage of people with resentment must learn that you have to let them work and that you can’t speak without knowledge.”

“From there, I go to the other 99.99%. This title goes to Spain, we have the best country in the world. I am very proud that the Queen has come with the Infanta and to see all the squares in Spain full,” added Rubiales.

The president also had a memory to select: “Very proud of the team, of Jorge and his staff, of all Spanish football. It is an unforgettable day for me. I am very aware, although it is often said that we will find out.”

Rubiales hopes that the party in the Spanish capital this Monday will be complete when they arrive from Australia: “Support the players on Monday night in Madrid, they are heroines.”
