It’s quite remarkable that we got the pre-rendered teaser for Assassin’s Creed Mirage last year, but since then Ubisoft hasn’t said a word about the game to the public. In fact, we don’t even know if the plan is to launch it this year (although this is rumored).

But there are indications that things have been happening behind the scenes and that Ubisoft is preparing for the premiere. If nothing else, the very well-deserved Tom Henderson speaks Insider Gaming that a gameplay showcase is one of the headlines during the Ubisoft Forward event on June 12:

“Back in December 2022, Insider Gaming reported that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is targeting an August 2023 release date. Although we’re yet to receive an update on such plans, it’s understood that the gameplay of Mirage will be shown off at this year’s Ubisoft Forward event on June 12, 2023.”

We’re still crossing our fingers that the game will actually be released in August. Ubisoft would really need a hit.
