With less than a month to go until the release of the much-hyped Hogwarts Legacy, we finally get free reign in JK Rowling’s magical world. By all accounts, there is plenty to do at Hogwarts and we should therefore be able to count on some pretty juicy play time.
According to an unnamed leaker, the same one that reportedly also leaked the Hogwarts Legacy artbook we reported on earlier today, we’re right to expect plenty of hours at Hogwarts. According to the leak, it is about 35 hours if you choose to just run the campaign straight through and at least 70 hours if you also do all the side missions and look for all the collectibles. For example, you unlock the Avada Kedavra curse via a side quest and this should happen late in the game, so anyone who was hoping to go berserk with the wand on their rivals and enemies will have to wait until the end.
It is, of course, a rumor, so it is usually necessary to have any salt container in front, with or without iodine, but a playing time of upwards of 70 hours does not feel unreasonable at all. On February 10th, we’ll know for sure when Hogwarts Legacy is finally released.
