Almost nine years ago Microsoft had with scale bound An Xbox title announced, which at PlatinumGames was in development. The game generated quite a lot of interest at the time, including on our website. But in 2017, Microsoft decided to Action RPG set. After six years, however, it looks like the title could make a comeback. At least that’s what a recent episode of the “XboxEra” podcast says.
Will Scalebound return?
In the podcast, the insider speaks “Sphesal_Nick” on the possibility of a return of the title. “So it’s very very early, we’re talking very early here, but I’m told Platinum is working with Xbox again to see if you can scalebound brings back“, according to the insider. It is unclear whether one would start from scratch or continue with the state of 2017. Insider Gaming emphasizes that Platinum Games once noted that many assets from the originally planned action RPG for bayonetta 3 were used.
After all, they didn’t want to throw away the working time that had flowed into the project, despite the hiring. The website also emphasizes that Jez Corden published a thematically appropriate article for Windows Central last year. So Hideki Kamiya, co-founder of Platinum Games, is very interested in bringing Scalebound back at some point. However, whether this will happen in cooperation with Microsoft is another matter entirely.
