Sami Zayn turned out to be a key player in Bloodline’s development, as soon as he started to get involved in the group.

The storyline was one of the company’s most important and ended up becoming special for all fans who follow the programs.

Already in an interview on “WWE After the Bell” by Corey Graves, Sami Zayn revealed that he almost gave up on the storyline with the group:

There were questions about whether or not it should happen. Even in the early stages of all this. Then for me, coming back to the issue of impatience. There was a point where I was very impatient with the plot and was almost ready to jump ship and say, “Okay, we’ve got to start moving in a different direction if this isn’t going where it needs to go.”

For me, it all hinged on Roman and I finally getting together and the deviation being, “Roman likes this guy.” It’s expected that he doesn’t like him, but he knows him and he likes him. That was the whole point of this whole thing.

He buys the idea. Roman drives the whole story, and it works great even if he’s not present, but since he’s the main antagonist, his decision at the next point in the story will drive and propel the story in any direction. We needed to involve him in the story.

Do you think Sami Zayn should have left Bloodline sooner?
