Samsung Galaxy F04 has release date, specs and leaked images

Samsung has confirmed that it will launch the Galaxy F04 in India in January 4th. It comes with the proposal of being one of the most accessible devices from the South Korean and had several leaked materials in the last few days.

Now, the company has confirmed specifications, price and other details about the cell phone just before its official launch.

The Samsung Galaxy F04 can be purchased directly from retailer Flipkart and will cost less than ₹8,000 (~R$520). It will be launched with 8 GB of RAM, but the South Korean discloses this value with physical and virtual RAM, called RAM Plus.

At the rear, the cell phone will come with a dual camera module and LED flash near the sensors, while the front will have a drop-shaped notch. On the left side, the cell phone will bring the chip drawer, while the volume and power buttons will be located on the right side. In color, the device will be available in purple and green.

In terms of specs, the Galaxy F04 will come with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution. As an entry-level device, it will bring a default refresh rate of 60 Hz. Under the hood, it will come equipped with MediaTek’s Helio P35 chipset and for power, the phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery unit.

In the operating system, the cell phone will come from the factory with Android 12 under the One UI 4.1 interface. Samsung only promises two major Android updates, which may upset some users.

It seems that the launch of Galaxy F04 cell phones by samsung it’s getting closer and closer to happening. In this sense, some rumors point out that the device will be launched in India at first, being sold exclusively in the Flipkart store for a more affordable price.

The design, in principle, can be a little like the Galaxy M04, but you can also see similarities with the models of the Galaxy A04 line, which recently hit the Indian market. In any case, not many details are known about this model from the South Korean manufacturer.

Regarding the technical specifications, all that is known is that the Galaxy F04 will arrive with 8GB of RAM, something that can be a good attraction for a cell phone in the entry-level segment. But not much is known beyond that, even if you can’t expect top-of-the-line features here.

So far, it is speculated that the model will have more details similar to the Galaxy A04, such as the 6.5-inch LCD screen and a 5MP selfie camera. The main camera on the back of the aforementioned model has 50MP, but there is no confirmation that the new smartphone will have this same attribute.

On the battery side, the Galaxy F04 is expected to have a capacity of 5,000mAh. The price, anyway, should be INR 8,000, or BRL 511 in direct conversion. As the promotional campaign images were leaked, it is likely that the smartphone will be announced soon by Samsung, which is also preparing the launch of the Galaxy A34.

THE samsung may be about to expand its range of affordable smartphones with the possible launch of Galaxy F04 4G in the Indian market in January next year. According to rumors, this model will join the portfolio of entry-level cell phones, such as the M04, A04 and A04e sold a few months ago in the country.

According to the IANS news agency, the company should announce in the 1st quarter of 2023 some new devices in the ‘F’ category, focusing on reaching people who intend to invest in a medium device with a low price compared to other options of the same level, such as the Galaxy A22 and M12, for example.

Despite the scarcity of official information, Rumors suggest that the device will have a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution (1400 x 720 pixels) and 60 Hz refresh rate on its front.. At the rear, the phone is expected to sport a dual camera setup of as-yet-unknown quality.

As an entry-level device, the Galaxy F04 4G can only bring 4 GB of RAM memory soldered on the motherboard and up to 4 GB through the RAM Plus function. Apparently, the cell phone should share the look of the Galaxy M04, a model launched on December 9 by Samsung in India.
