Samsung Pass is coming to the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 and Windows 11. To install it, the user must have a computer with TPM (Trusted Plarform Module) 2.0 or higher, as well as compatibility with Windows Hello.

Windows Hello is Microsoft’s biometric authentication platform that uses facial recognition, iris scanning and fingerprint scanning. Coincidentally, the launch of Samsung Pass is happening at the same time as the new Galaxy Book 3 notebook series is debuting on the market. The new Galaxy Book 3 has a fingerprint reader on the power button, allowing the user to utilize Samsung Pass benefits.

The application Samsung Pass for Windows synchronizes the user’s login information with Galaxy smartphones and tablets, so the user can easily access them when turning on the PC. However, it is important to remember that for this it is necessary to meet the prerequisites mentioned above.

On Windows, Samsung also offers the Gallery, S Note, Bixby, SmartThings applications, among others. Furthermore, with the release of One UI 5.1, the South Korean smartphone maker is bringing its devices even closer to Microsoft’s desktop operating system.

If you’re looking for a new Windows notebook, Samsung will start pre-ordering its Galaxy Book 3 notebook series on February 27, 2023 globally. However, it is not yet known when the products will be launched in Brazil.
