The January update package includes improvements from Samsung as well as Google, therefore, which fix vulnerabilities in both Android and One UI. The January update mentions over 50 vulnerabilities with “High” priorities and three marked as “moderate” but already shipped in previous updates. There are no fixes marked as “critical”.

Among all these updates are vulnerabilities in Samsung Knox related to Permissions and Privileges. In the Secure Folder app, restrictions were added to “close the door” of the app when it is played in the background. The vulnerability that existed until then allowed a breach in some situations.
