The San Hejmo Festival will take place over two days in 2023. That’s why the organizers have raised the entry age from 16 to 18 years.

The San Hejmo Festival will be even bigger and even more intense in 2023. After the premiere in 2022, those responsible decided to let the festival take place over two days this year: In addition, visitors can camp on site. In this context, however, a change will also come into force.

San Hejmo 2023: “Presented on Top Artists”

While visitors aged 16 and over were also able to buy a ticket for San Hejmo at the premiere last year, in 2023 only visitors aged 18 and over will be admitted. “San Hejmo will be developed into a weekend festival with camping this year. In this context, we decided that it makes conceptual sense to set the minimum age at 18 years – also with a view to the experiences from the premiere,” the organizer announced. This regulation has been in effect since the start of advance sales.

However, they can look forward to a festival with many different headliners. With Apache, Sido and the Fantastischen Vier, the San Hejmo makers were able to win over several hip-hop and rap greats. Also present in 2023: the band Tokio Hotel, who celebrated their big breakthrough in 2005 with their song “Durch den Monsun”. The Rostock rapper Marteria – who delighted the audience in Weeze in 2022 – will be there again. “We really concentrated on the top artists that currently exist in German-speaking pop, hip hop and rock,” explains organizer Bernd Dicks in an interview.
