At SC Freiburg, regular departures of top performers have been taken into account for years. Again and again the Breisgauer have to hand over their best players to the competition after a strong season.

The most recent example is central defender Nico Schlotterbeck, who switched to Borussia Dortmund last summer. After all, the Freiburg received a handsome transfer fee of 20 million euros.

An attacker, who has not been the focus of much of the season so far, is now supposed to flush a similar sum into the cash register.

According to Sky information, attacker Kevin Schade is about to move to Premier League club Brentford FC. The English are said to have been interested in Schade in the summer, but the U-21 international stayed in Breisgau.
