Mülheim’s fire brigade had to move out to the Saarn school center on Friday. There was a fire alarm there. what is known so far.

A fire alarm was triggered at the Saarn school center on Friday morning.

The fire alarm system on Lehnerstrasse was triggered around 10 a.m. The fire brigade moved to the school center with a command service and two fire engines. “The school was already evacuated when the first emergency services arrived,” the fire department later said.

The cause of the fire in the anteroom of a toilet has yet to be determined

After a short exploration phase, smoke was found in a sanitary area on the ground floor. The fire in the anteroom of a toilet was quickly brought under control with a jet pipe.






The fire service then freed the area from the smoke and controlled it until the all-clear. No people were injured in the fire. The affected area can no longer be used after the fire. The police are now investigating the cause of the fire.
