Timo Schultz returns to the coaching bench. The 45-year-old will be on the sidelines at FC Basel from the coming season, as the traditional Swiss club has announced. At the Bebbi, the former coach of FC St. Pauli will receive a working paper that is valid until 2025.

Schultz says of his new role: “I’m really looking forward to this new task, the club and its fans. Discussions with all those responsible were very positive and constructive right from the start. We have ambitious goals and I’m really looking forward to tackling them next season. Until then, I wish FC Basel every success for the rest of the season.”
