The Water and Sanitation Company of Algiers, SEAALannounced maintenance work at the level of the seawater desalination plant Stamp Djinet » from tomorrow, Wednesday April 26.
These works, which will continue until midnightwill lead to a complete cut in the water supply in several municipalities in the capital.

The municipalities concerned are:
- The municipality of Birkhadem,
- The commune of Gué de Constantine (Ain El Malha and Ain Naadja),
- The municipality of Saoula (centre of the municipality, districts of 250 housing units, 150 housing units and 1109 FNPOS housing units),
- The municipality of Kouba (barracks of the land forces command, AADL district 416 housing units),
- The commune of Burj Al-Kifan (in the center of the commune and in Mohous),
- The municipality of El Mohammadia (Zerhouni Mokhtar district, AADL les bananiers, district 700 housing units, 310 housing units, 225 housing units, 138 housing units, Lido, Tamaris as well as the maritime pines).
In addition to the municipalities already mentioned, The municipality of Bab Ezzouar will be affected by these cuts on Thursday, April 27, 2023.

The SEAAL reassures its customers
The water company of Algiers wanted to reassure its customers at the level of the affected municipalities. This maintenance work will cause the shutdown of the station leading to a production deficit. A special distribution program will therefore be implemented during the maintenance period.

Finally, SEAAL states that the usual water supply will be restored gradually after the end of the works.
