The Ukrainian General Staff claims that Russian missiles flew over Romania and Moldova. Moldova has confirmed the presence of the missile in its airspace, but not Romania.

The head of the Ukrainian army said that two Russian cruise missiles flew over Romania, a NATO member country, as well as Moldova on Friday morning before entering Ukraine.

Two projectiles fired “from the Black Sea” “crossed Romanian airspace at approximately 8:33 a.m. GMT (9:55 a.m. French time, editor’s note)” before entering Ukrainian airspace, said in a press release the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Valéry Zalouzhny.

Romania claimed that this information was “unconfirmed”. Moldova has indicated that a missile had entered its airspace.
