Police reported Thursday the death of Christian Lopez Rivera, 26 years oldwho along with another man was run over at about 9:20 pm on Sunday, on highway PR-698, in front of the Boston Scientific factory, in Dorado.
This is the second victim of the accident, he died early Monday Jaime Otero Velazquez, 52 years old.
The preliminary report reveals that Jamet A. Arroyo Cruz, 28, was driving a black Lexus 1S350 from 2014, allegedly driving at excessive speed, for which he lost control and command of the steering wheel, hitting a Honda Civic vehicle that was parked and later to the two men who were in the sidewalk area.
Arroyo Cruz continued the march and ended up hitting a concrete wall located at the entrance to the factory. The subject was tested for alcohol and it returned 0.138%.
According to the authorities, the driver returned 0.138% in the alcohol test.
The Bayamón Highway Patrol Division, together with prosecutor Rosaline García, took charge of the investigation.
