The upper room of the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary (TEPJF) ordered the Justice Commission of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) resolve disputes issued by the group of the former governor of Hidalgo, Omar Fayad Meneses, after they were eliminated from the conformation of the VIII National Political Council (CPN), despite having won the internal elections.

Unanimously, the magistrates resolved that a new resolution be issued that resolves, in an integral way, the challenge filed by Gabriela Candelaria and Esteban Fernándezthe same that they showed dissatisfaction after other representatives of the entity were elected, despite the fact that they did not obtain victory in the internal elections.

According to what was resolved, the complaint was against the National Commission of Internal Processeswhich was in charge of validating and rejecting the records of the templates of CPN applicants, which elected Dora Elba Jiménez Lazcano -as president- and José Gonzalo Badillo Ortiz -as technical secretary-, although the winners had been given to the mayors Sergio Baños Rubio and Alejandro Dionicio Velasco.
