A character familiar to fans of “Sex And The City” will make a comeback in season 2 of this sequel, as evidenced by a first trailer.

An old love of Carrie resurfaces in the revival of Sex And The City. HBO Max has just released the trailer for season 2 of And Just Like That…sequel to the cult series, and fans will always recognize a familiar face: John Corbett, the interpreter of Aidan Shaw in the original program, is making a comeback.

Aidan Shaw was one of the main companions of Carrie, the central character played by Sarah Jessica Parker. He disappeared from the plot when she finally preferred Mr. Big (Chris Noth), but briefly reappeared in the second feature film from the series, released in 2010.

Cast (almost) complete

Broadcast between 1998 and 2004, Sex And The City followed the amorous adventures of four New Yorkers in their thirties. Its lively writing and its characters of independent and liberated women made it a worldwide phenomenon, followed by two sequels on the big screen.

Seventeen years after the end of the series, the American platform HBO Max launched the sequel in 2021, And Just Like That…, which reconnects with the protagonists as they enter their fifties. One of the main actresses, Kim Cattrall, is missing: after the media coverage of her differences with Sarah Jessica Parker, the interpreter of Samantha has decided not to resume her role.

Season 2 of And Just Like That… will be unveiled in June in the United States. In France, it was the Salto platform which broadcast the first salvo; the latter having closed its doors in February, it is not known where these new episodes will be available.
