I’m just kind of taking a break and getting to know what my brain feels like without writing Sex Education for a moment.”

Since season 1 of Sex Education, viewers of the Netflix series hope to witness Otis and Maeve’s happy ending. However, as the designer recalls, seeing them end up together was never in her plans: “They’re 17, and I think it’s really hard to meet your soul mate at 17. And I always kind of imagined that they might meet up 10 years later when they’ve matured and grew up a little bit.” What could be the subject of a spin-off series? “It’s the spin-off.
