Shazam is updated on iOS to recognize songs in TikTok, Instagram and YouTube apps

MADRID (Portaltic/EP).– Apple updated the Shazam application so that it is capable of identifying songs discovered in other applications, such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

The Shazam for iOS 15.36 update, available from this Thursday on the App Store, expands the scope of song recognition performed by the popular application, since it now supports music that sounds in other ‘apps’.

This novelty means that if the user hears a song that they don’t know in applications like YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, they will only have to open Shazam, press the blue button and return to the other ‘app’ to find out which one it is.

In this update, Apple reminds that users of its ‘app’ can activate iCloud to save and synchronize the music that Shazam recognizes.
