If there’s anyone with the authority to speak on how close the She-Hulk series is to the source material, it certainly has to be Dan Slott.
“I’m the guy who’s written more She-Hulk comics than anyone. I have read every comic in every She-Hulk series. And I’m saying, for the record, that It is the MCU program most attached to comics”, Was what Dan Slott said on his Twitter account.
Some users responded to Dan Slott by saying that their complaints were never with how attached the series was to the comics or not, to which the writer pointed out that he has seen that complaint countless times since the She-Hulk series premiered.
In the comments we see many agreeing with Dan Slott, because they even say that the chapter in which Daredevil appeared is the closest thing to a comic they have seen in a live-action production.
Another user pointed out that their complaint is that the She-Hulk show made all men look like enemies, with the exception of Daredevil. Dan Slott responded to this comment by saying that there are more examples of positive masculinity throughout the series with Pug, Wong, Luke, Bruce, Ched, Jen’s father, and Matt Murdock making his complaint invalid.
