Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Remake is now available for PC and console. The Ukrainian development studio Frogwares celebrated the launch with an atmospheric launch trailer that shows many new excerpts from the game.

Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is a massive reimagining of the identically titled original originally released in 2007, built from the ground up using Unreal Engine 4. In addition to improved graphics and controls, the game world has also been redesigned and the story about what is probably the most famous detective in the world has been improved and expanded in many places. There are new side quests and additional puzzles.
The Awakened takes up the first case of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John H. Watson, who could hardly be more sinister: In 1882, the duo investigated the disappearance of several people at various locations in Europe and the United States. As it quickly turns out, all of the cases appear to be linked to a mysterious cult worshiping the ancient deity Cthulhu.
