Police are investigating a murder and two people injured in events that occurred on Friday night at the “Glass” barbershop on Comercio street in Ponce.

According to the Police report, a call was received through the 9-1-1 Emergency System, about a person who was shot at the scene. When the agents arrived, they found inside the business, the body of Gabriel Alejandro Soto Rivera, 26 years old and who was a resident of Ponce. His corpse presented several injuries that caused his death.

Soto Rivera, had a criminal record for crimes under the Weapons Law, Vehicle Law and Law 54.

The 36 and 45-year-old gunshot wounded and employees of the barbershop were transferred to the Dr. Pila and Damas de Ponce hospitals to receive medical attention.

Prosecutor María del Carmen Tripari and agent Luis Casiano Alvarado, from the Ponce Criminal Investigation Corps, investigate.
