Shooting in Philadelphia leaves four dead; there is a suspect in custody

A spokesman for the Philadelphia Police Department told The Associated Press that there were “several victims with gunshot wounds,” but added that there is no further information on his condition at this time.

Miguel Torres, a police spokesman, told CNN that a suspect was in custody and a weapon had been recovered.

Police spokeswoman Jasmine Reilly told the network that six people were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and two others to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
