Texas, United States.- Law enforcement responded this Saturday to reports of a shooting at a mall in Allen, Texas, that left nine people dead and seven injured, three of them in critical condition, according to Police.

Calls alerting to gunshots began coming in around 3:40 p.m. from the Allen Premium Outlets.

Police confirmed that there are 9 victims, including children, but did not specify how many were killed or injured. Images on social media suggest that at least four people have been killed in the shooting.

In addition, the Collin County Sheriff reported that the shooter was shot dead by deputies.

“The victims were transported to local hospitals by the Allen Fire Department,” the Allen Police Department reported.

The photos show several deaths outside the H&M store after the shooting at the Premium Allen Outlet Mall.

A live aerial broadcast from the news station showed armored vehicles and other law enforcement vehicles parked outside the sprawling mall. Ambulances from several neighboring cities rushed to the scene.

The Dallas office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives also responded to the incident.

Allen, a suburb located 25 miles north of downtown Dallas, has approximately 105,000 residents.

Local media indicate that later the authorities will give a new press conference, in which more details about the incident and the victims are expected.
