San Francisco police confirmed that 9 people were injured, all are expected to survive. The incident was reported shortly after 9:00 p.m. at 24th and Treat streets in Mission.

Upon arriving at the scene of the shooting, officers found multiple people with gunshot wounds, all of whom were taken to area hospitals.

Supervisor Hillary Ronen’s spokesperson confirmed to Telemundo 48 that 5 people were admitted to the San Francisco General Hospital; In addition, one of the injured is in surgery and another 4 people have minor injuries.

The authorities ask to avoid the area because it will remain closed.
