Shooting leaves one person injured at a Dorchester home

A man was injured Sunday night during a shooting in Dorchester, one of four violent incidents that occurred hours apart in Boston.

In this shooting, which occurred on Draper Street around 11:30 p.m., the Boston Police Department said its officers found a man with gunshot wounds in a home.

Boston Emergency Medical Services took him to a nearby hospital. At first, police said the man had life-threatening injuries to him, but in a later update, he said he was expected to survive.

Boston was rocked by two other shootings and a triple stabbing on Sunday night, in addition to this incident.

Police officials said all investigations were in their preliminary stages and it was unclear if any of the incidents were related.

No arrests have been made in the cases, police added.
