Passion for music, rhythm and a portion of talent: The band Klubbb3 was founded in 2015 – it included Florian Silbereisen, Jan Smit and Christoff.
Munich – A Belgian, a Dutchman and a German formed a band together more for fun. Klubbb3 has existed since 2015, including the musicians and friends Christoff de Bolle, Jan Smit and Florian Silbereisen. In January 2016, the first album “Caution uncensored!” was released.
Successes of the international band Klubbb3
The first album “Vorsicht unzensiert!” reached number four in Germany, number 33 in the Netherlands and number six in Belgium. A year later, the band released their second album, “Now it’s really going on!” Because in 2018 the third and for the time being last joint album “We will always be more” was released.
Klubbb3 is particularly well received in Austria, all CDs are awarded gold. One reason for the success is that the project was started without any pressure: “We said: ‘Not good, also good’, that’s our motto. If something doesn’t work, it doesn’t matter, the main thing is that we have fun,” said Florian Silbereisen (41) on the NDR talk show.
At the end of 2019 it became quiet around Klubbb3
Until the end of November 2019, Klubbb3 still took their fans with them on their Instagram channel. With a post for Christmas 2019, the band virtually said goodbye with the wish to “reflect on the really important things”. At the beginning of 2022, the band’s management said at the request of schlager.de: “Clubbb3 is not planning a comeback in the foreseeable future.”
However, Jan Smit is said to have said to his bandmates at the time “that Klubbb3 will keep in the fridge for at least another year”. Now it is known: After ten years, Jan Smit will no longer be part of the Dutch preliminary round of the ESC. This decision is said to have been made internally in November 2022.
This will definitely eliminate one task and maybe there will be time for a comeback from Klubbb3.
